“More than 90% of companies recognize that a strong supply chain is critical for meeting today’s consumer demands. This represents major opportunities for our supply chain software business. Both our organic growth and M&A activities will build a substantial backbone on our journey to become the global supply chain software champion. With Jason Russell, we will expand our presence globally and provide even more benefits to our customers from the ever-evolving depth and breadth of our solution portfolio,” says Chad Collins, Chief Executive Officer at Körber Supply Chain Software.
“This is an exciting time for Körber’s supply chain software business, given its strong positioning in the industry and clear objective to become the global supply chain software champion. The rapid expansion of e-commerce and increasing interconnectivity of the global economy have shown us both the value of supply chains and their vulnerability to disruption. Around the world, they are critical for hauling medicine, food and consumer goods to communities. As we enable companies to build efficient and sustainable supply chains, we are helping those who move goods to do good. I look forward to being part of Körber to further empower businesses to conquer their complexities and make this a reality,” adds Jason Russell.
Russell’s appointment follows the announcement of KKR’s acquisition of a significant minority stake in Körber’s supply chain software business in 2021. This strategic partnership enables Körber to enhance its global position in the market with recognized warehouse and transport management solutions, rapidly expanding voice and robotics practices and integrated end-to-end supply chain solutions.
